The theme of the congress, »Multiscale Catalysis«, reflects our vision to create a dynamic platform that bridges the many dimensions of catalysis — from the atomic and molecular level to reactor engineering and industrial application. The focus is on synergy: the integration of knowledge at different levels and the interplay of experimentation, computation, data science, artificial intelligence, and innovation. By linking fundamental findings with real processes, multiscale catalysis opens up new possibilities for tackling global challenges in the fields of energy, the environment, and sustainable production.
