University of Minnesota Department of Chemical Engineering and Materials Science Minneapolis (MN), USA

Dr. Kelsey A. Stoerzinger is an Associate Professor of Chemical Engineering and Materials Science at the University of Minnesota. Her research group investigates electrocatalysis for key applications in sustainable and resilient chemical production and energy transformations, with an emphasis on understanding the reactive interface where these reactions occur.
Stoerzinger began her career in 2018 at Oregon State University with a joint appointment at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, where she was previously a Linus Pauling Distinguished Postdoctoral Fellow. She completed her doctoral studies in Materials Science and Engineering in 2016 at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Prof. Stoerzinger has received numerous awards, including the NSF CAREER Award, DOE Early Career Award, and the 2025 ACS Marks-Ipatieff Award in Catalysis.
