Excursion to Lake Bled
Bled, is a magnificent Alpine resort with the only true island in Slovenia. For centuries it has been the symbol of natural beauty and home to fairy tales. Ascend the old 12th-century castle, perched on top of a steep cliff with spectacular views of the lake, the famous Bled island, and the surrounding peaks. The castle is not only home to fairy tale weddings, cultural events, and important protocol meetings, but also a museum of manual printing and a wine cellar.
A ride on a traditional Pletna boat, handcrafted by local boatmakers, is one of the must-do experiences when visiting Bled. More than just a scenic boat trip, it offers an authentic glimpse into the town’s rich heritage. Standing oarsmen will take you across the lake to Bled Island, where 99 stone steps lead up to the Church of the Assumption and its famous wishing bell.
No visit to Bled would be complete without tasting the iconic Bled cream cake, a local specialty renowned throughout Slovenia. Later in the day, there will be plenty of time to enjoy dinner at your own expense at Bled Castle, accompanied by spectacular early sunset views over the lake and surrounding mountains.
Return to Ljubljana is expected at 22.00.

Excursion to Postojna Cave
Visit the world-famous Postojna Cave and Predjama Castle, one of Slovenia’s most remarkable historic landmarks.
Discover the magnificent 24 km halls and chambers of the mystic underground of the Postojna Cave, the most prominent karst cave in the world which was first described in the 17th century and was ready to visit more than 200 years ago.
Learn about the most famous cave-dwelling creature – the “human fish” or olm and explore beautiful underground passages and galleries with spectacular drop stones, pillars, limestone curtains, and other natural stone forms when riding by special electrical train and walking through the cave.
Return to Ljubljana is expected at 20.00.

Excursion to Piran
Pass the coastal towns of Koper, Izola and Portorož before reaching one of the most charming places on the Slovenian coast – Piran. Upon arrival, enjoy a guided tour of the historic town, wandering through its narrow medieval streets, discovering small galleries, hidden corners and picturesque houses, and learning more about its rich history and Mediterranean character.
Piran is one of Slovenia’s oldest towns, first mentioned as early as the 8th century. Over the centuries, different cultures and rulers have left their mark on its architecture, traditions and way of life. Its distinctive silhouette, set on a narrow peninsula and crowned by the impressive St. George’s Cathedral, makes Piran one of the most recognizable towns in Slovenia.
After the guided tour, there will be plenty of free time to enjoy Piran at your own pace – take a refreshing swim in the Adriatic Sea, relax by the waterfront or explore the town further or walk over to Portorož. In the evening, enjoy an included dinner in Piran, featuring local and Mediterranean flavours, while taking in the beautiful sunset over the Adriatic.
Return to Ljubljana is expected at approximately 23:00.
