Céline Chizallet is a project leader in the Catalysis, Biocatalysis, and Separation Division at IFP Energies nouvelles, Solaize, France – a public research organization focused on energy, mobility, and the environment.
Her expertise lies in computational heterogeneous catalysis, particularly in simulating industrially relevant catalysts such as aluminosilicates and supported metals. Since her PhD obtained in 2006 from Paris 6 University, her work has bridged computational chemistry, experimental catalysis, spectroscopy, and process design, earning her several young researcher awards.
Since 2014, she has been strongly involved in the organization of various events in the field of catalysis, culminating in the function of secretary, in charge of the scientific program of ICC 2024 in Lyon. As of 2026, she is a Topic Editor for ACS Catalysis.
